Do I need VSL strings?

Hi,

what do you guys think about the Notion 3 strings? Can I be without VSL for orquestral music or brazilian popular music?
Working with eq and compressor, will help me to do a professional result without VSL?
If not, which VSL library do I need for that kind of music?

The two viable options for orchestral stinrgs that are supported by Notion are VSL SE and EWQLSO. EW is on sale for 50% off until 3/31, so I'd givbe that serious consideration.
