Thanks for the post. Yes, I am using the standard version of the sounds.

However, I just stumbled on the culprit, and it is the humble staccato dot.

I originally entered the pizz. markings to test the general functionality of pcartwright's rules — which, by the way, are fantastic (dare I say fabulous?), just as he is, for posting them here — and the notes had staccato dots on them. I disregarded the fact that a staccato dot is meaningless in pizzicato and left them in the score. Well, it turns out that their presence made Notion ignore the pizz. marking. Now I can take the rest of the day off...

Glad you got it working. By the way, dgriffee's phrasing rules (viewtopic.php?f=24&p=7693#p7243) work very well with GPO. You may want to tweak the settings to your own taste, but I added them to my rules by merely copying his rules into my rule set (replacing the more generic rules near the bottom of the prules file) and it worked without a hitch.
