As soon as I assign the ARIA player to a piano grandstaff that grandstaff alters into a single staff. I can't find a solution for having the Garritan Steinway instead of the "Notion" piano.

Hi!
Do like this:
-choose the track you want to assign the piano to
-go to Track settings and select Aria form the VST list
-without yet hitting OK, click the "Notation/Tab"-tab in the same instrument selection window, at the top
-on this page you get to select the staff type - make sure Grand Staff (piano) is selected
-now hit OK.
Now you should have a piano staff as it should show. I hope I understood correctly - was this what you were trying to achieve?
If you've already created a staff, you can still access the same settings for the track and go to the same tab mentioned above and change the staff-type to Grand Staff.
And remember to open the Aria interface (by selecting "Staff VSTi interface" from the Tools-menu) and load the Garritan Steinway into the slot.
