Stuck midi notes

When I play through my midi keyboard in Notion, I seem to get stuck midi notes very often - much more often than in my sequencer. Also, these midi notes won't become "unstuck" even if I press the same note again.

What kind of settings/things affect this? Is there any way to make it go away?

Hi posssu,

Make sure you are using ASIO if you are on windows, Direct sound may cause hung notes due to latency. If a note does get stuck simply tap ESC once or twice and it will cut it off.

Good to know about the ESC-thing. Unfortunately I'm on a mac, so there's no driver to change... any other ideas? I have Novation SL 64

FYI I posted a feature request for a kind of "panic button" which would stop and reinitialise all midi/audio.
This is available on many sequencers.

Check out Lubo's reply above: it seems to be possible to achieve this by hitting ESC. I tried it and it works!
