Beginners Issues

My apologies in advance for asking some basic questions but I hope you can assist

I have started to create a score and cannot enter multi-measure rest bars - I have followed the video instructions but it does not work

Also how can I set up repeat bars? when I tap on the icon initially the 1 appears when I then tap on the bar where I want the 2nd time to appear another 1 appears

please forgive my ignorance but your assistance would be much appreciated

Taken from pg 37 from help file
For multi-measure rests, go to Parts Settings - More, and select the minimum number of measure rests, before a multi-measure rest is created
NB - You need two or more instruments in your score (you can always hide one in the score setup menu)
- Multi-measure rests only appear in the instrument dynamic part, not in the full score

Can you assist with how I set up 1st & 2nd time bars? I have liked at the manual by can't seem to work out how to define how long the bars are set up for - thanks again
