This may be a stupid question, but I haven't found an answer.
I imported a midi score that has a tempo set. I want to change the score tempo but don't know how. I do know how to start playback and arrow up/down the tempo, but I don't want to do that; I want to change the default score tempo.
Any directional assistance available?

Re: Change score tempo of an imported midi file
After you import you should see a tempo marking above the first bar that looks like this.
Just double click it and change the value to what you require.
If you do not see it. you can always add a tempo marking by choosing from the tool bar as below

Thanks for the reply. Tech support just got back to me with the answer, too.
When I opened the score the tempo marking was not there. I now know how to insert one and then change it.
