Can I hide rests in a multi-voice recording

I wonder if I can hide the rests in a multi-voice recording in order to make the piece better readable for my students?

Thank you for your quick reply!

Hiding doesn't seem to work through the main menu (hide is greyed out there) but it works through the right click menu. At least on my Mac.
