The "Avid Orchestra" sounds awful in demos - poor in both sound quality and expression; listen to the excerpt of Brahms 3rd: it comes from a barrel organ, not an orchestra!
This leaves great room for growth to our beloved application.

Yes, those sounds are terrible. How in the world can they take up 38 gb when Notion's infinitely superior sounds only take up 10??? I mean, even N1's sounds put these to shame....

To be honest, S7 string quartet sounds not so bad (the best I have heard from a notation program).
But... wait... this is Notion Forum...

I think everything about the S7 library sounds horrid. Yes, the solo flute from N3 isn't that great either but the strings, especially short arts, are amazing.

Yeah, I must agree that the Sibelius instruments are only slightly better than a general MIDI bank. Notion certainly takes the prize as far as native sounds are concerned.
