The strings sound realy great!
I can see how deep your are in love of your MIR reverb and its fantastic rooms!
For my personal taste, I would bring more "direct", and get less "room"... something like more of a "Mercury Living presence" sound than "Decca 1950's" sound (before they used foam to absorb room noise from the back of the omnis...).

Yves, merci beaucoup, I do enjoy the new dimension strings. The quartet is now complete with the new viola samples (well not quite I guess until the additional articulations are available - something to look forward to!).
I have played with direct vs reverb sound a lot. At one time I had more direct sound and gravitated towards a little more room sound. I'lll play with it more, it's always fun to try to identify a "sound" (like the Living Presence you mentioned) and see if I can match it with MIR Pro.
