Hi,
Is it possible to transpose a Baritone sax part to Bass guitar ?
If so how ?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Transposing
Do you have a bass guitar staff already set up, or do you want to stay on the same staff?

Re: Transposing
I don't know.
The problem is that I play baritone sax in a sax group, along the way we have picked up a bass guitar player, and to find something for him to play I was going to try and transpose the Bari part for him and I can drop back on to tenor sax.
Cheers

Re: Transposing
Set up a new staff for the bass guitar. Copy the Bari sax line, and paste it in. It SHOULD transpose automatically, although the octave may be wrong, and that's easy to correct.
Note: I don't have a Bari sax instrument to try it with, but it seems to work with other transposing instruments.
