Rhythmic slashes with no stems for Big Band notation?

Hi, I am a Big Band arranger and am wondering how to input rhythmic slashes with out stems for rhythm section parts, solos etc. Although there is an option for rhythm slashes, It does not allow me to get rid of the stems, which makes notion hard to use for standard rhythm section big band notation.

Does anyone know how to get around this?

I absolutely love this program, but I need this one feature before I can use it full time.
