I've posted this piece before for strings. Here's the complete version for strings and winds along with piano.

VSL SE and SE+ strings and winds, recorded in MIR Pro Sage One Hall.

As always, feedback is appreciated!

Thanks!

Beautiful piece.
My only thought was that the piano was a bit low in some sections when it's among the other instruments around. It seemed to get buried, even though it seemed to have an important melodic part to play.

Thanks for the feedback! Always helpful, and glad you liked it. I've since re-recorded the piece and made some adjustment, but in the reference recordings I have the piano tends to be pretty backgroundish. It also has intense dynamic range, so if I adjust the volume to push the pp then the fff comes blasting through. I could adjust this in a DAW mix, but that's where I would really like to have the ability to draw volume curves in Notion. I prefer to keep things in the Notion/VSL environment and not take things into a DAW unless I absolutely have to.

I'm basically lazy. :o
