OK, here's my first attempt at using Dimension Strings with Notion:

Excerpt from Borodin's String Trio in G minor.

Recorded in MIRPro Sage Two with MIRacle Enhance.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated!

Hey Michael, I thought the programming was pretty good, but could use a tad bit more expression. Mix wise it felt a little too distant. This could be personal preference but I would prefer it closer. Good job though!

Thanks, John, feedback is always appreciated. MirPro tends to be a bit distant sounding. I've been working on that. The programming is straight up Notion with DS strings, my first attempt just to see how the samples sound "out of the box" so to speak. I didn't do any tweaking. Now I'll start to listen harder and dial some things up or down and play with the expression and dynamics and samples. Dimension Strings are a new world and there are far more technique samples available than what I'm used to with SE Strings. All good fun!
