I've posted this piece before, but I've re-recorded, remixed and remastered it. Constructive comments from the crowd here would be welcome regarding the final mix. It's really hard to mix in a vacuum!

Notion transcription, VSL Pro instruments, VSL MIR Pro Room Emulation, tracks exported to Reaper for mixing and mastering.

Hi,

I liked the piece. The only critique is that I've found the cello (the first instrument playing) is a little bitt too out, often hiding others.

Moreover, nevertheless I like use not too much reverb, probably here a little bit more (or a larger room) will help to better blend the instruments together.

However, I like it, and that's the most important thing. ;)

Claudio, thanks for the feedback! I listened to it again this morning and was thinking that the room is too large. This morning it sounded like it was in a cave... I'm going to listen to some reference CD's of quartets for comparison.
