Mar Revolto, for Solo Clarinet

Mar Revolto (Troubled Seas?) is a little piece for Clarinet I just wrote, trying to explore the ample register and dynamic possibilities of the Clarinet.

I had a lot of fun with Notion. After a month or so, I feel like I write music more naturally than in any other notation software I used. And it's a pleasure to listen what you write! Some people asked me if it was recorded.

Thanks!!!

Why yours doesn't sound like this? it's the absolutely standard.

But note that I was careful to write all the articulation and dynamics the music required. You can see the score here:

By the way... more and more people ask me WHO'S PLAYING! lol.

Hi elerouxx
Thank you for your answer.
I will dig in deep into your score.
And into Notion' clarinet too. :)

Ps. Did you -- or any Notion user -- also worked with the Notion' jazz clarinet?
I'm writing (well, at least trying to write) a concerto for this instrument and I'm looking for a library offering a comprehensive sound palette. Any suggestion?

Regards.

veery nice, elerouxx! The Notion clarinet does sound really good!

@Fabio - I have not tried the jazz clarinet, so I can't say... as an alternative, you may try vsl solo clarinet, I find their solo woodwinds very good generally, although I only have the se version

Roberto, thank you for reply. I will leave for a while to a National Lottery counter. Hope to be lucky enough I can afford one! :D
Am I right remembering you are a Wallander Instruments user? What about their libraries?

yes you are right, Fabio! I've been beta tester for some of his libraries... they are very nice, but to me they lend better for orchestral parts, where you don't need the detail. When very close, they somewhat reveal their synthetic nature... but they are quite expressive, and have a small footprint on cpu. Used in the right context, they can shine...
