Posting Size...

Postby Grawnque » Wed Dec 01, 2010 5:55 pm

Is there a limit to the size of a .WAV file being posted in this forum? I've been trying to upload a particularly large one and it never quite finishes loading. Am I trying to load too much, or is there something I'm missing here?

How large is the file you're trying to upload? I believe the maximum is 75 MB!

I'd think you'd want to post it as an mp3, rather than wav...

Oh, man! (slaps forehead) MP3's!

Considering that this had four movements, and only one of them is smaller than 75 mB in WAV files, MP3 is the obvious answer! (I have GOT to get out of the Baroque Period...)

Hmm... That made no difference. The first movement is 3.9 mB, but I can't get even that to load. Any ideas?

Hi Grawnque.
You can upload your file via a filesharing service (eg. box.net) and paste the link to it in a thread of its own here at Notion'.
We are waiting to listen to your work!
Greetings.

As it turns out, Box was indeed the way to go. The advise is much appreciated, and I hope you'll still be speaking to me after you hear it!
