ReWire

A Forum to Discuss PROGRESSION

ReWire

Postby jazzalien » Wed Sep 02, 2009 1:27 pm

In the NOTION-Forum you have told me, that ReWire will be supported in N3.

Something about the ReWire-scenario:
I have tried this with Cubase and Sib.6-Demo. Cubase is the Master and Sib.6-Demo is the Slave. In Cubase I have the Stereo-ReWire-Channel from Sib.6-Demo. All I have to do is to start Cubase and Sib.6-Demo is following exactly (Tempo, Cycle...).

ReWire is the answer of some problems in working with Music-Software. Cubase is a great DAW, but it will never be a perfect Score-App. PROGRESSION is the ultimate tool for guitarists, but it's not a DAW or a sequencer.

And now - surprise - my question:
Does PROGRESSION support ReWire in the future???

It definitely will support ReWire in the future, and I can't tell you exactly when that update will be, but you may consider upgrading from Progression to NOTION3 to get everything :D

Thanks, these are good news.

I've tried NOTION 2 Demo yesterday. This version has the focus more on classical music, but it sounds great and works fine.

I will wait for more information about N3 (features, price...). When there are all (guitar-)features from PROGRESSION included in N3, maybe it's a good idea for me to have both, PROGRESSION for small and N3 for bigger projects.

Cheers
