Hi all,
I’m a newbie to Notion on my ipad, and have a question. Say I have a half bass note and want my melody note to start after a quarter rest. When I try to do this Notion puts the note first, then the rest, so the melody note actually waits for the bass note to be over. But that is not what I want. I want the bass note to start sounding, then after a quarter wait the melody note comes in. Assuming my question makes sense, how do I do this?

You need to use the multivoice feature, in the note/rest selection palette. Look at page 22 in the Help files.
