Turn two staves into a grand staff?

Does anyone know of a way to turn two of the staves in a lead sheet into a grand staff? Some of the composition is melody in treble clef, while some is both melody and harmony/bass function.... Thanks!

I don't think you can combine the staves. I would enter a new grand staff, copy the music over to it, and delete the original.

Thank you. Because I am not interested in having a grand staff for the whole composition, this prompted me to go a little deeper into notion: I have entered another part (basses, with no transposition); I can then fill the measures of the bass part I am not using with rests and select "hide resting staves."
