entering chord symbols

Is there a way to enter more than one chord symbol over a whole note in the melody? I have been unsuccessful so far with this newest version. Love the Jazz Chord symbol font and note font though.

Enter your whole note in layer one. Switch to layer two, and enter (for example) two, half rests. Now you can attach the chords to the rests, and hide the rests. The chords remain.
