It's a two step process the way it is. Maybe It would be better to be able to expand them and have them stay expanded if you wanted them that way.

Enharmonics is a two step process when using the new (brilliant I might add ) pen tool, which for me, is not how I'd like it.

I agree. I would like to see the "primary" palette consist of notes, rests (do we really need the 64ths?) tie, single dot, accidentals, and layers. And maybe, tuplets.

Slurs, articulations, expressions on a secondary. Everything else, wherever!

That would let me do 99% of what I need, from a single palette.
