NOTION Music Forum

I'm a bit confused with the GUI. If I enter a quarter note, it goes in black. If I tap it again, the notehead turns orange. While it's selected in this way, If I tap the eighth note icon, the note changes to an eighth. If I switch to the accidental palette, and tap an accidental, it's applied. No problem.

But if I tap the x-notehead, nothing happens. I have to switch to the x-notehead, and THEN enter the note. Am I missing something?
