Has anyone found a way to rename file names in the list of available files on the home screen?
Best wishes,

Looks like you can do it through iTunes...

Re: Rename files?
Ah, thanks, Bill.
I think I'll write this up as a feature request. Especially the addition of numbers in parentheses at the end of file names, whether that is needed or not, is someone I'd love to be able to fix right in the list, rather having to tether the iPad in order to perform such a minor bit of housekeeping.
Best,
Thorrild

Re: Rename files?
Open file,
Then you do 'save as'
And you have a new file and can delete the first one.

Hi DiegoLyne,
Remember, this is the Notion for iPad forum. There is no 'Save As' command available.

Re: Rename files?
I stand corrected, and I'm delighted to do so. This update is getting better and better! (Or has this been an option all along? — Anyway, thanks!)

Re: Rename files?
I would prefer a 'rename file' as 'save as' with delete.
And folder please...
Notion is fantastic except to organize data.
Please and a thousand please!
An other idea, can we have different speeds of reading?

Re: Rename files?
Unless I'm completely mad, there's 2 more ways to rename files!.....right?..
1. Just click on the title and you can rename to anything in score view.
2. Click the settings cog button next to the home (house) button and click on score set up...then just click inside the title window! Done!
Cheers P

Re: Rename files?
Brilliant! Thanks for resolving this for me! I hadn't thought to look at the export button at all.
I agree with DiegoLyne, a re-name option would be very handy too.
Jaws75, the things you describe rename the Title but not the file name in the start menu…
