Keyboard is scrolling like crazy

it too, so I'm hoping there is a fix for this you can already suggest
to me. The piano keyboard keeps scrolling all the way to the bottom of
the instrument's playable range whenever I tap a new note value in the
palette. For example, I'll be writing a Clarinet part in a high
register, but when I change from quarter note to eighth note, for
example, the keyboard suddenly jumps all the way to the bottom of the
clarinet's range, and I have to scroll all the way back up along the
keyboard to get back to the place I was at so I can keep entering
notes. It does this with EVERY note value change! The result is that
it is taking me 5 times longer to enter notes than it should.
