MultiVoice Instruments Copying & Pasting

MultiVoice Instruments Copying & Pasting

Postby alexg » Mon Dec 19, 2011 6:07 pm

I wanted to consolidate two separate lines (e.g. Violins 1 & 2) into divisi for Viola. I copied Violin 2 into the Viola part and tried to specifiy it as a lower voice. Ithen attempted to copy and paste the Viollin 1 part as an upper voice in the Viola part but this didn't work. Has anyone else attempted this?

I just tested it and got the same results you did.

So the best you can do right now, as I see it, is to copy one of the violin lines to the viola staff, then switch voices and manually enter the other violin line.

This behavior is not unique to Notion's iPad app. You get the same result in the full Notion3 application. So, strictly speaking not a bug, although a nice feature request for the future.

Best wishes,
