Record a rhythmic line via tapping the screen

In that way, users who don’t know about 1/4, 1/8, 1/16… could write their phrases easily. After then, users would need to edit that line to add notes (build chords) or modify them to shape the melody.
For example, I want to create a tablature of a song. I record the rhythm of the chord line (or melody) with tapping with my finger on the screen. After that, I edit the recorded line adding chord notes or melody.
I think could be a nice feature.
