What does "Reset to main sound rule" do?

The Reset to Main Sound rule is the last rule used if no other rule is triggered as Notion looks down the list. If no conditions, modifications, articulations or techniques set it off, the last rule, Reset to Main Sound, is triggered.

This sound's key switches should be set to the main sustain sample that your library is set up for.

The example above is the example from VSL that works with the main sustain patch that any instrument plays. The key switches relate to the key switches set up for a particular cell. If the note is not displayed with any articulation, or technique, those three key switches are played simultaneously triggering the first cell of the Vienna Matrix that I am using.

Hope this helps...
