Can someone elaborate on how to write rules for custom techniques? I've seen the idea in several posts, but I'm not quite sure I understand the full usefulness of these techniques...
Can x01 be assigned to represent a type of note head (as referenced here: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=1331)?
Can you define start techniques and end techniques?
Etc.

just want to bump this so it doesn't get lost... I think a little extra info would be useful for anyone trying to write their own custom rules.

Re: X01 - X20, CS01 - CS10 Elaboration
x01-20 are note techniques, while cs01-10 are start and end techniques. So if u place an x01 on a note it applies to that note only, while if u place a cs01 it applies to all the notes after it until cancelled with another cs or normale.
