I think the confusion might be mine because it is based on (a) the N3 expansion sounds already listed in Notion's online store, (b) not knowing yet how many N3 instruments/tehcniques will be included in N3, and (c) the assumption that not all of the N2 sounds now available have yet been re-recorded in the new format.

Therefore, I guess the first step to clearing up my confusion is to ask:

Have *all* of the legacy N2 instruments/techniques previously sold in expansion kits been re-recorded in the new N3 format and will therefore will be available to those of us who own the corresponding N2 Expansio Kit?

Thnx!

P.S. A complete and detailed list of N3 instruments (and especially the playing techniques for those instruments) that will be bundled with N3 would probably help. Is one available?

This should help:

http://www.notionmusic.com/products/notion3/sounds.html

And to answer your question.....yes all of the N2 sounds have been "re-recorded" as close mic samples.

It's annoying when you post a response and then realise there were more comments on the next page you didn't realise were there, making your submitted response pointless, hence why I've edited it to this. ;)

Kyle,

Looking at the included instrument list, it does appear that many of the expansion kit instruments are there.

Can I assume that the instruments in the list include *all* of the playing techniques that for which we had to buy some of the expansion kits?

Thnx!
