Hi all.
Just noticed that they're selling this library at half the price.
Does any Notion user have an advice on it ?

I've bought a number of string libraries over the years, but always come back to using this one. It’ very simple by today’s standards, without velocity layers, etc. BUT, it just sounds good, and the vibrato sounds natural.

Thank you Bill.

Yes, it looks very simple. Maybe $200 was too much, but it is woth at this bargain price.
And being without bells and whistles lets you concentrate on composition.

Last but not least, did you included it in any Notion project?
I see they it uses more midi controller data than modwheel's to achieve expression.
Can I safely use sequencer staves to obtain it?

Regards

Letting you focus on composition is exactly the thing. I still have the old GigaSampler version of this, as well as some of Dan’s other libraries. I’m looking forward to upgrading to the Kontakt version soon.

Truthfully, I still work in Finale, as Notion doesn’t yet really have the ad hoc control over MIDI that I need.
