hi,
using notion with vsl se i figured out that the difference between a paasage written in p and mp is very big. is there any possibility to adjust volume-levels corresponding with dynamic symbols?
thx

Re: Notion + VSL Dynamic Problem
Hi lp,
Yes, you can do that several ways:
1. Edit the dynamic maps in the prules files for VSL presets (in your PluginData/VSL/Rules folder in the NOTION3 install dir or app package)
2. Open the VSTi instance and tweak the velocity response or switch off the expression controller mapped to CC11 (latest release)
3. Tweak the dynamic itself - you can double-click a dynamic and enter a number to add substract from the effect it has, so p+0.5 will be louder than p but less then mp
Hope this helps

dear lubo,
thank you for the advice. one more question to the rules: is it possibile to define different rules for different instruments?e.g. to let a violin behave at a pp different from a cello?
