Vienna Strings Attack Bug

Hi Everybody, I would like to introduce a problem wich I have with Vienna
Well, I have Notion SLE but i think is the same in N3, which is great and great but you know.
the problem is this:
try to write and ascending A major scale staring in lower octave of Vionlis ( orchestral Violins ) I or II ( are the same I know)
now try to write this scal for 8 octave in and the value of each note as 8ths.
Tempo at least 108 ( very common )
Dynimice P or PP even PPP

here is it: in this kind of passage you can hear the worst bug of vienna,
the "waving" of strings
infact is impossible to avoid the bad strings attack
you may hide it ( not professional ) with EQ or Reverbe but it will sound un-real

so have someone of you solve this problem?

This kind of problem is present in all String Libs such as EWQL, GArritta, Miroslav... bla bla bla

but if you listen to a real orchestra is possible.

Try scale in other tonality, the defect will remain
It seem the Sustain Violins work only for slow tempo and/ or adagio
but if you play Moderate there is no solution known

some ideas?

Keyswitch off to another articulation (sfz. or stacc. or detache')? You can also use the cell crossfade feature to include the attack of one of the shorter articulations with the legato or sustain. Go to beatkaufman.com and soak up the tutorials there. He will even be happy to charge you 40 or 50 euros for a video ( :o ). But there are some free tips too.

Try going into the Patch Assign tab of Vienna and see if playing with the ADSR Envelope can make your Violins sound closer to what you like. Make sure you are on the patch that you are trying to adjust. When you save in Notion it will save your new settings in this VE instance without changing the default VE settings.

-Select the Violins Channel in Vienna
-Select the Patch Assign tab in the Vienna Instrument
-Have fun mixing it up!

Thanks everybody for your advices.
I already tried to overlay few differnt sound of staccato with legato, but is always unreal
also the Attack of Legato is to slow
Even if you change parameter od ASDR yo cannot get the real result.

So I would likw how did you solvet it that problem
I exposed this issue to Vienna and they told me that they are working on a New Legato
but the problem remain

If i opnly need violins PP in lower Octave ( common needs ) how can I solve it
I do not want to double with flutes ( as stndard )

How did you solve it

Vienna Team told me that maybe in APPASSIONATA STRINGS is possible
..... MAYBE

see you soon

I think you must have reached the SALES team rather than support.

What kind of passage are we talking about here? 16th notes at allegro? If so, the normal sustain's attack would certainly be too slow. Is stacc no go here?

Yes you are right
everytime i ask them something they alway try to sell me a new product.
Any way
Try to play an A major ascending scale from lower part of ViolinS
Tempo 90-108, play 8ths in PPP, PP P
you will hear what I mean

See you soon
