Woodwind issue with build 256

Hi all

Has everyone noticed issues in woodwind playback after upgrading to .256?

Bassoons and clarinets doesn't respond accordingly to dynamics. With audible loops on sustained and tied notes.

I submitted a bug report, but I want to be sure it's not my score corrupted by too much editing... (no notation software is safe against people's inhability to compose).

Regards

There are indeed a number of problems with the reeds, even the new versions, and these problems have existed since the initial release.

Yes, reeds (and, I think, some brass) do not loop like N2 sounds did (trust me, wind players can sustain a note for more than 5-6 seconds). What is equally frustrating is that there is a built in start-of-trill delay that frequently causes the trill not to sound at all depending on the tempo and length of note, especially on the clarinet.

Unfortunately, these problems can not be solved programatically, so we just have to keep impressing the Powers That Be that the sampling engineers have to burn the midnight oil and whip the N3 sounds into quality, profesional shape on a par with other sound libraries.

Just MHO,
