The samples are definitely all stereo! The decision to go with close mic samples was to provide another (and some may say better) option regarding samples and was basically to offer another "flavor" of sound. It's really amazing to me the things you can do with VST's. I prefer the close mics

Notion3 looks to be a major push forward for Notion. I am looking forward to its release date. Do you, as of yet, know when you plan to release it? Will it be a download from the Notion site? Is there going to be a cost associated with this release?

Just a quick edit.....you are correct that some of the Notion2 sounds are mono....and the Notion2 Sounds are included with NOTION3 in addition to the close mic samples.

Thanks Kyle. Still darn curious what happened...somebody forget to record arm the hall mics or something? No IATD cues sure sucks the depth out of those instruments with mono samples.

Does the Notion 3 mixer have automation capabilities? Volume automation would be especially welcome.

Not at the moment, but I know it's something that's been discussed!
