I'm trying to see what level of control I can get over vibrato. People seem to talk about "natural" vibrato when they really mean "stereotypical vibrato from classically trained musicians". There is no reason that violin, for example, has to have ANY vibrato. The finger can just stay still if desired.
Is there any way to get NO vibrato in strings and winds and such in Notion? What about controlling vibrato depth or rate, anything in that direction possible?
Also, what is the difference between glissando and portamento in Notion and is it possible to have a gliss/port that does not have a dynamic sort of attack on arrival? I want to have a smooth pitch glide that just stops on the destination with no emphasis at that moment.
