This is a duplicate of a bug report, just to supply pictures, and maybe to be given a solution by other Forum readers...

Beam tool doesn't work as promised in the manual. The examples given can be reproduced, but other instances of beaming/unbeaming note groups cannot be adjusted as promised on p. 10.2 of the User Guide.

Try breaking the beam between the downbeat 8th note *without* also breaking the 16th beam. Any solutions?

Unfortunately, the only solution is for Notion to put this at the top of fix-list (along with many other features that got broken between N2 and N3).
