Two layout questions

Good morning,
I am new here and a complete nerd when it comes to Notion 3. Playing around with various features as a "personal introductory survey" I wondered:
a. can I vary the space between staffs
b. can I set the number of systems per page
As an "old" Overture user I am used to do those things with only one or two "manual" actions (dragging).
I am sure those things are in the help file/manual but I can't find it.
With regards,
Raymond

a) I can't find a way to do that, and I can't find anything about it in the manual either
b) you can accomplish this if you use the "force new page" function in contex meny (right mouse button)

I'm pretty sure you cannot choose spacing between individual staves or between systems. Under full score options, you can change the Notation size, which will often give a better fit for duos on small pages or orchestral scores on larger pages. I usually use 3,4,5. Especially for rendering parts, a spacing or number-of-staves per pg would be nice.
I like it that N3 handles lots of formatting decisions, and mostly gets it right.

Good morning,
finally spring, sun and higher temperatures. I found out how to influence the individual stave spacing. At a full orchestral score the staves are rather close to each other, but when you start putting a note on each staff with sufficient ledger lines then ....... you will see that the layout changes accordingly to accomodate the spacing needed. Make the notes invisible and voila (IMHO) you have the spacing you want. Take care about the total height of the page!!! It will run off the screen.
