For six months I have been going to an fro to Notion 3 trying to eliminate the white sound.
I have tried everything.
I am using another notation program to write the 'White Sound' Symphony.
What a waste of composing time.

Are you referring to the sound made by the IK Multimedia plugins? These plugins will make some noise if they aren't properly registered (IK Multimedia doesn't make it easy). Disable the effect and use a different reverb plugin if that is the cause of the noise.

afaik, midi and audio work as such with rewire:
Master = can only send MIDI and receive audio.
Slave = can only receive MIDI and send audio.
unless that's changed within the last couple of months...in general practice, that's how it works.
