Just thought I'd share an experience I had with Notion and the Behringer UCA200 A/D interface. My initial experience consisted of a horrible scratchy sound during note entry and playback. Both Notion tech support and Behringer suggested that I increase the buffer size, but this didn't work. After tinkering around for about an hour yesterday I discovered that the Audio Midi setup in Snow Leopard sets the output channels to 1 Ch. 8-bit. After re-setting this to 2 Ch. 16-bit everything is fine and dandy. However, the system occasionally re-sets it 1/8 so I have to go back in and change it. No big deal, I'll buy a nicer interface in the future but it's still good to know I can get this thing to work.
