MIDI Guitar
Posted: Mon May 19, 2014 12:46 amI'm using the TriplePlay MIDI pickup on my guitar with Notion. One of the idiosyncrasies of this device is that pitch bend needs to be set to an octave on both the controller and the output synth or hammers, slides, etc won't play. Does anyone no a way to change the pitch bend range in Notion?
I've tried using Notion instruments and the TriplePlay software as a plug-in. When I record, it seems to track just fine, but in the notation, there are a lot of dropped notes and slides, hammers, pulloff notes that it doesn't hear. I have the velocity and timing set very low and I know Notion is hearing them, because when I record into a sequencer staff the playback is very close to what I played. However as soon as I convert it to notation, it drops the notes and no longer plays them.
