'Hi and advice request: 'file contains invalid data'

I'm Andy , semi-pro composer in London, England. Great to discover this useful forum.
I'm awaiting response from the Notion support desk, but I'm wondering if anyone here has experience of opening a file that suddenly described as having 'invalid content'?
I may have saved with brown notes rather than add an irregular time sig once or twice but this wasn't a problem prior to this morning.
