Tempo change as ratio
What's the best way to express a tempo change as a ratio, ie. quarter note = half note and get it to play back?

Hi George,
I suggest entering the new tempo in the normal fashion, then hiding it. If you want a "quarter equals half" tempo, you'll have to enter it as a non-playing text block using a font with music characters. Perhaps this thread will help:
