Barline disappears - even in print

The barline of the last measure in a "house repeat" disappears, when linked to the next measure.
To Explain:
I want to write a lead sheet.
You want to keep a clean 4 or 8 bar system, but you have a repeat and in the last bar a variation. So you make a house repeat and link the next bar, which is house 2, so it keeps the full repeat on the same system, to keep all coming bars again in a clean 4 / 8 bar system. At least in Germany common practice to make reading easier.
Now when you make the link to next measure the bloody bar disappears. And no way to get it back unless unlinking the measures.
