Hi, there is a way to move tuples symbol up and down the stem so it will not be together with the slur?

Hi,

It is maybe not the official way but i tried it and it works:
- Select the notes in the tuplet,
- Right click with mouse
- choose Notes, Stem up or Stem down

Now the stems will not move but the tuplet does. When you want it back to normal, choose Default direction.

Hope this helps,

Frieda

Hi Frieda,

I did this already, but it doesn't help with the slurs issue.
But thank you.

Hi Rubens,

I know that Frieda's workaround doesn't work in all situations, but have you tried getting the tuples where you want them and then select-right-click the slur and force it onto the other side? (Attachments>show above/below)

Let's hope that this will be fixed in the future.

Best,
Thorrild

Hi Thorrild,

the problem is that I cannot always move the tuplets up and down to then go for the slurs. For sure this could be a way... Don't know why I can't... Am I missing something?

Thank you,

Rubens.

Hi Rubens,

The method I described works most of the time, but not always. It's not a perfect solution, only a work-around. Let's hope that it can be fixed properly at some point in the future.

Best,
Thorrild
