I am having an odd situation with instrument transposition. Maybe someone has some advice.
I'm working on a piece that calls for Clarinet in A. I set up my basic staff using score setup in Notion and identify that the staff is to transpose to A, same octave lower. The key signature adjusts itself at the beginning of the piece, and is correct for transposed view. All is good, life is smooth.
Then an odd thing happens. As soon as I call an instrument, it seems that the key signature for that staff reverts to something else. Why? If I try to transpose it to get the key signature correct then everything is off.
What am I doing wrong? Is it because I'm calling a Bb Clarinet as a substitute? Is there something in the VSL Bb Clarinet that changes the key signature in Notion?
I've been struggling with this for a while, any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Instrument Transposition Oddity
I noticed this also in my current project. Seems the "Notion" Bb Clarinet does not keep the transposition consistently. Staff settings and view settings do not correct the issue. I'm going to try and re-create the issue by creating a new file with the Bb Cl. and see if it's only isolated to my current project. Have not done that yet. I don't recall having any problem with transposition in the past. The Sample Modeling Bb Saxophones I use in other projects don't have any issues so I may have a problem with just this particular file.
I have had other strange anomalies occur which required deleting staves or measures in order to expose and eliminate invisible problem data entries that caused playback problems.
I guess it's a good idea to document these issues and pass them on to the proper channel. I've generally tried to find a work around and then keep going with what I'm working on.
I really like Notion and every update seems to be better and better.
As for the transposition issue I hope to solve it soon. I've been going in circles trying to edit an orchestral score I'm imputing into Notion 4. No other instruments are a problem. The "F Horns" transpose correctly as does the other transposing instruments. Just seems to affect the clarinet on my system.

Re: Instrument Transposition Oddity
Good to know that it's not just me. I've had two pieces now that this has been an issue with.
It also seems to be a problem if for any reason the instruments are copied from another file. I had a piece that used a save as command to copy the piece over to play with in another setting and ended up with transposition problems there as well.
