I like the composition, and I like the sound of the strings. I am missing one thing here. It would seem a lot less in your face and more realistic with a bit of reverb. I am thinking some type of concert hall. You don't need to overdo it, just make it sound like it exists in a space. It will give a little bit of depth to the sound and point of origin from an audiences perspective.

It was recorded using MIRPro, VSL'c convolution reverb. Reverb is tricky; every time i crank it up, I get comments that it's too wet. So I've tried not to overdo it.

I'll give it a listen compared to the reference recording I've been using. Thanks for the input!
