Slurs not playing back

Just bought Notion, in the hope that it can replace Sibelius, which I'm unhappy with for a variety of reasons. However, I can not get slurs to play back in either strings ensemble or solo, no matter what I do. Staccatos play fine, but notes with no other articulation than a slur sound the same, slur or no slur. What gives?
