Audioport work using Notion 4 and CopperLan
Posted: Tue Dec 31, 2013 6:39 pmI have begun to use Audioport audio networking software. (http://www.audioimpressions.com/overvie ... tuniversal) I have got it to work using Notion 4 as the "sequencer" and CopperLan (no cost MIDI networking). Hurray! Will keep everybody posted.

OK, got the first set of tutorials (9 videos) up to explain how to set up the workstations and the laptop to do this. Will be posting the 4 videos of the next tutorial that deals with establishing the MIDI network required. Then comes about a dozen videos to show Notion 4 connecting to about 50 gigs of sound samples from the three workstations.

The second tutorial set can be found here. I used Sibelius notation program and Studio One sequencer to create these videos, but the principles extend to Notion 4. I'll work to get a fifth video together showing Notion 4 explicitly.
