Quickest way to solo non-adjacent tracks?

Postby posssu » Sun Jan 24, 2010 4:25 pm

If I want to work for a while with few tracks, are there some faster ways to solo tracks than doing it from the mixer?

I can select two tracks and hit play to hear them, but if I constantly edit them, then selecting them all the time becomes time-consuming.

Another way is to solo both of the tracks from the mixer. But since mixer is "Always on top"-window and there's no shortcut to launch it on a keyboard where /-sign comes from a combination of SHIFT+7...

Any ideas? Shortcut for "Solo current track"? I remember in Sibelius there is this feature where you can focus on certain tracks and only see them and in Overture you can find Solo and Mute from the track context-menu. Both would help in this case.
