Philhamonik can't be enabled in Notion 4

Postby asli » Sat Nov 30, 2013 2:53 pm

Hi!
Bought Notion 4 today and want tu use it with Miroslav Vitous Philharmonik, which is installed on my computer. I'm running W7 and Cubase 6.0
When I try to "enable" the plug in in the "VST Manager" within Notion 4, this message occurs:

"Philharmonik: The entry point function could not be found in the plug-in."

Can anybody tell me what I did wrong?

Thanks in advance and best regards

Hi!

finally I got Philharmonik running with Notion 4 - but, there are no default Presets for this VSTi, only for Vienna, EWQL and the Notion Sounds. Anybody an idea where I can find them?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards

Hi asli

When you downloaded Phiklharmonik did you also download the sounds? I seem to remember that the sounds are a separate download.

How did you get it working? I'm still getting the same error. "Philharmonik: The entry point function could not be found in the plug-in". I have all the sounds DL'd but it wont open in Notion. The newest sampletalk can't come soon enough. The old interface is too buggy. Anyway, any tips on getting this to open. Thanks

Are you running Notion in 32bit mode?

Hi all,

Please don't be insulted by this post, but are you aware that Miroslav Philharmonik is still a 32-bit VSTi, and that you need to run notion in 32-bit mode in order for the program to recognize it?

Best wishes,
Thorrild

I was running in 32bit. I figured it out. The problem was I needed to run Notion as the administrator. If anyone else has this problem, try right clicking on the icon and use run as Admin. Hope this helps someone.

Well, it helped me so far. I was pulling my hair out.
Yet, there should be a better way to fix this, maybe a matter of permissionns. It works, but shouldn't be necessary to run as administrator.

Thank you!
